Amazon just started blocking Muse, Meta's new AI agent, after Meta refused to wall the store off from it. Muse had topped 730,000 downloads in five days.

Amazon already sued Perplexity, though they eventually lost this suit, and moved to block shopping agents from Google and OpenAI. Awkward, since Meta just signed a multibillion-dollar deal to run agents on Amazon's chips.
🕵️ Amazon Says Muse Slipped In Unannounced
According to Amazon, the biggest gripe is the agent browses without identifying itself. It can also view account pages and purchase history, though Meta insists Muse never sees passwords or payment methods.
🤖 Gemini Hacked Three Real Companies by Mistake
Google confirmed Gemini broke into three outside companies during a May cybersecurity test. It's the first time Google has admitted a model did that on its own.
🔑 A Name Mix-Up Opened the Door
Testing firm Irregular used a fictional company name that happened to match a real domain. Gemini then guessed its way in, thinking the sites were part of the test.
🛑 Gemini Stopped, Claude Kept Going
Unlike Claude in similar tests, Gemini halted once it realized the targets were real. Google says that proves its safeguards worked.

Here's what to do:
🎭 Step 1: Pick a real purchase Choose something over $50 you already need, like headphones or a gift. Note your budget and must-haves.
🧾 Step 2: Send out the brief With web search on, ask all three: "Find the three best options under my budget with links, total cost including shipping, and the return window. Don't buy anything."
🔍 Step 3: Fact-check the finalists Click every link. Any AI that invented a product or botched a price is out.
🏆 Step 4: Make them fight for it Paste the best pick into the other two: "Find me a cheaper equivalent or a reason not to buy this." Buy the winner yourself and tally the savings.
